Battling Back
Appearing in What Not
It’s been over a week and I’m yet to return to my former healthy state. The doctors said two to three weeks and it appears they were not kidding. That’s not to say I’m not better — the sore throat has been replaced with a head cold and the body aches with a general sense of lethargy — but I’m certainly not the 100% of mind and body I would prefer.
If nothing else, these occasional bouts with Nature’s finest are an important reminder that our bodies are not our own and that all cannot be controlled by technology or force of will.
